Our company has developed a wide range of collaborations with experienced architects and civil engineers, who are able to process the building permit in case the client hasn’t already contracted someone in specific. In any event, however, our company’s engineers prepare a static study, which is made available to the engineer in charge of processing the building permit.
ARCHITECTURAL SURVEYS
The building design starts with the architectural survey. The architectural design must meet the dreams and requirements of the owner and comply with the provisions of the General Building Regulations and the Construction Regulations.
The architectural survey determines the floor plan, dimensions, and configuration of the interior of the building in order to fulfil, to the greatest extent possible, the wishes of the owner. Also, the appropriate position and orientation of the building within the plot of land are determined and the openings are positioned according to the requirements of the insolation, natural lighting, and ventilation.
CALCULATION OF STEEL FRAME
An important element of our services provided is the calculation of the steel frame. The structural design and implementation of the design are detailed by our engineers and are available to our clients and their engineers for further processing of the building permit.
IMPLEMENTATION STUDY
The last stage of the study regarding the building under construction using the IQia building system, is the implementation study. At this stage, the construction plans of each building are created. The metal frame is divided into masonry panels, roof panels and floor panels.
For each panel, the design of its individual metal elements with their realized dimensions to the nearest millimetre is completed, as well as the design of the individual connections.
The panels are given an individual code, and a list of the cross-sections required for their assembly with their respective dimensions is also created. In this way, the assembly of any specific panel is achieved and with the help of its code it is placed at the appropriate point of the construction.
