STEEL FRAME

The metal frame construction system of IQia consists of thin wall sections of fabricated steel ,hot dipped and galvanized. Metal profiles of this kind are distinguished for their durability against strains such as earthquakes and corrosion.

O.S.B SHEETS

Oriented strand board is mainly used in construction to clad, walls and floors. It is category 3 in accordance to European standards EN 13 986, EN 1058, EN 795 and EN 300, which is certified by the Centie for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH)and has great durability in wet conditions.

GLASS BOARDS

Alternatively for exterior wall cladding waterproof glass board is used.

The glass board has exceptional resistance to humidity and water, it is fire resistant, A1-rated non-combustible, light weight, and environmentally friendly. Thanks to the specially-designed cellulose fibre fabric and the composition of its core, it has high resistance to humidity, mould, as well as minimal shrinkage and expansion during temperature fluctuations, resulting in its excellent behaviour in all conditions.

PLASTERBOARD  – SUSPENDED CEILINGS

The outer and inner walls are coated with double layers of 12,5 mm plasterboard. Proportionally the suspended ceilings constructed an those consisting of a metal galvanized frame and a thin layer of plasterboard 12.5 mm thick. Damp proof plasterboard is used in areas such as bathrooms and between the jambs mineral wool 40kg/m ³ 50 mm thick is placed for further insulation.

REMAINING MATERIALS

The choice of materials for the completion of the project, such as frames, tiles, kitchens etc. are made in accordance with the customers’ needs and the architectural design.
